On August 2, 2008 sixteen year old Clara Gardner, a senior at Northampton High School, was hit by
a drunk driver. She survived, but had both legs amputated above the knee and faces a long period of
recovery and rehabilitation. Many expenses will not be covered by insurance, and this concert is an
effort to help alleviate some of the financial strain on her family.
